An AI-Driven Email Marketing App for MeowMail

We built the MVP for MeowMail, a startup using AI to automate email marketing for online stores. The build included a Shopify app that syncs client stores in real time and a message queue system that keeps the app running smoothly as transaction volume grows.

AI-powered email campaigns

MeowMail’s AI analyzes engagement and profitability patterns to pick the best send times for each audience, and automates audience segmentation based on past interactions and preferences. It also reviews email template content to suggest subject lines and send schedules that match the message’s relevance and urgency.

Shopify integration

We built MeowMail as a Shopify app, listed in the Shopify App Store, so clients can install it and connect their store without a complex setup. The app syncs with each client’s Shopify store in real time, keeping campaign data current as orders and customer activity come in.

Handling scale with BullMQ

As client stores connected, the volume of data from their transactions and interactions started to strain the system. We added BullMQ, a message queue built for large-scale data processing, so the app could queue and process that data asynchronously instead of falling behind under load.
