Founder
Jean-Philippe Abadir
I started North P&D after a few years writing software at Amazon and RBC, and getting tired of watching good ideas get stuck in slow, overbuilt processes. I studied computer science at the University of British Columbia, and I still write code most weeks.
Over the past few years we've worked with more than 15 clients across Canada, the US, the UK, and Belgium, on everything from customer-facing products to the internal tools that keep a business running. I'm still the person you'll talk to on a discovery call.

Quality and completion
We would rather take an extra week than ship something we would have to apologize for later. Every project gets proper QA before it goes out the door.
Communication
We listen before we build. Most project problems come from a misunderstanding early on, so we spend real time making sure we understand what you're actually trying to do.
Reliability
If we say it'll be done Friday, it's done Friday. If something slips, you hear about it before the deadline, not after.
Integrity
We'll tell you when a cheaper or simpler option exists, even if it means a smaller invoice for us. Trust is worth more than a single project.
Longevity in relationships
We're not trying to maximize one project. Most of our work comes from clients we've already worked with, and we'd like to keep it that way.
