Founder
Jean-Philippe Abadir
I started North P&D because I wanted to do meticulous work, the kind most teams don't have the patience for. Before that, I interned at RBC and Amazon Web Services, and studied computer science at the University of British Columbia. I still write code most weeks.
Over the past few years we've worked with more than 18 clients across Canada, the US, the UK, and Belgium, on everything from customer-facing products to the internal tools that keep a business running. I'm still the person you'll talk to on a discovery call.

Our values
Quality and completion
We would rather take an extra week than ship something we would have to apologize for later. Every project gets proper QA before it goes out the door.
Communication
We listen before we build. Most project problems come from a misunderstanding early on, so we spend real time making sure we're clear on what you're actually trying to do.
Reliability
If we say it'll be done Friday, it's done Friday. If something slips, you hear about it before the deadline, not after.
Integrity
We'll tell you when a cheaper or simpler option exists, even if it means a smaller invoice for us. In the long run, we believe trust is worth more than a single project.
Longevity in relationships
We're not trying to maximize any single engagement. Most of our work comes from clients who keep coming back, and that's how we want to keep growing.
