Streamlined Onboarding: A Custom Employee Portal for Chick-fil-A Eaton Centre

Two people shaking hands across a desk during an onboarding meeting

We built a custom portal for Chick-fil-A Eaton Centre to support team management, integrating directly with the software systems the client already uses so that updates and changes stay synchronized in real time. Built around the client’s specific needs, the portal lets employees log in and access what they need without friction, improving communication and coordination across the organization. The responsive interface adjusts to any screen size, so the experience holds up whether someone’s on a shared office computer or their own phone. The result is a tool that simplifies day-to-day workflow management and supports team productivity.

Integration with Basecamp

The portal integrates with Basecamp, the team management software the client’s staff already relies on. We built this integration at the client’s request, connecting the portal to Basecamp’s project data, communications, and schedules so they stay synchronized automatically, cutting down on manual updates and reducing the risk of errors. By connecting directly with Basecamp, the portal gives staff a single view of projects and tasks, and changes made in Basecamp show up in the portal right away. Real-time updates help the team stay informed and responsive, supporting better coordination regardless of where people are working from.

Employee sign-in and coordination

Beyond Basecamp, the portal simplifies the sign-in process for employees and improves day-to-day coordination through a responsive design that works across devices. Staff can access the platform from a desktop in the office or a phone on the move, with the interface staying clear and easy to navigate at any screen size. That consistency helps keep the team connected and coordinated, supporting communication and productivity across shifts.

Conclusion

Every organization has its own workflow and its own set of tools already in place. For Chick-fil-A Eaton Centre, that meant building a portal specifically around their existing systems rather than asking them to adapt to ours. The result is a tool that fits how their team already works, making onboarding and day-to-day coordination easier to manage.
